Surge Protector Technical Parameter Requirements
In order to protect the electrical system from damage caused by lightning or operational overvoltage and surge current, a surge protector should be installed in the box. The surge protector should be of high quality to ensure that the electrical equipment is protected from damage by lightning current. The surge protector manufacturer should have ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 management system certification. The surge protector must have a valid CQC certificate and a national standard product test report (performed in accordance with GB18802.1 standard) or an IEC International Electrotechnical Commission standard (performed in accordance with IEC61643-11 standard) certificate (such as UL, TUV, CE, KEMA, etc.). The bidder shall provide the certification certificate with the bidding documents.
Each set of surge protectors is equipped with a pre-SPD backup protector. In order to ensure the good compatibility of the backup protector (SSD) with the protection parameters of the surge protector, the selected backup protector should be of the same brand as the surge protector. The SPD backup protector (SSD) must have a test report, and the surge and surge backup protector must provide the original factory authorization.
