(1) Article 8 of Section 4.2.1 of GB 50057-2010: A surge protector of Class I test shall be installed at the main distribution box where the power supply is introduced. The voltage protection level of the surge protector shall be less than or equal to 2.5 kV. When the impact current value of each protection mode cannot be determined, the impact current shall be equal to or greater than 12.5 kA.

(2) Article 4 of Section 4.3.8 of GB 50057-2010: When the electrical grounding device is shared or connected with the lightning protection grounding device, a surge protective device of Class I test shall be installed at the main distribution box or distribution cabinet where the low-voltage power supply line is introduced. The voltage protection level of the surge protection device shall be less than or equal to 2.5 kV. When the impact current value of each protection mode cannot be determined, it shall be equal to or greater than 12.5 kA.
